Founded by Troy Ruhr from Winnipeg, Canada, Pelagic Ventures. Scuba has been offering personalized, small group diving since 1994. Current owners, Paulino Castillo and his wife, Mary, will consult with you to plan your dives so you can make the most your time here in Cozumel.

Emergency O2 on Board
Oxygen first-aid kit on every departure. All divemasters trained in O2 administration.
VHF Marine Radio
All boats carry marine radio for coast guard and vessel communication at all times.
Marine Park Rules Enforced
No gloves, no sunscreen, no reef contact. Enforced on every dive for every guest.
PADI Certified Divemasters
All divemasters and instructors hold PADI certification.
Emergency First Response (EFR)
All instructors and divemaster have EFR certification.sters hold current EFR certification.
National Marine Park Permits
Current operating permits for the Arrecifes de Cozumel National Marine Park. Marine Park fee (~$13 USD/diver/day) included in every package.
Boat Safety
Equipment
Life jackets, first aid kits, emergency signaling on all departures. Both vessels were regularly serviced.
Group Size Limits
8 divers on Mary Beth, 6 on Hatza Ha.

We offer two-tank morning departures daily. Afternoon trips are available (minimum number of divers required.)

The reef at night is a whole new experience as the nocturnal creatures come out and you get and chance to see bioluminescence.

Diving Discount Packages
We offer discounted pricing of
$100 USD
per trip if you dive 5 or more 2 tank trips. Packages are per person. Twilight/night dive two tank trips count toward the discount but are not discounted themselves.
*No add-on surprises. Our prices include tax and the daily marine park entry fee.
