Our Dive Shop in Cozumel
Pelagic Ventures operates from our dive centre in Cozumel’s hotel zone, a short distance from the main ferry pier. Whether you are arriving off a cruise ship, staying in San Miguel, or booked into one of the beachfront resorts, we coordinate pickup or meeting-point logistics to keep your morning simple.
At our dive shop in Cozumel, we provide everything you need for a complete day on the reef, tank fills, quality rental equipment including BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, and masks, and pre-dive briefings from certified PADI divemasters who know each site’s current conditions. We keep our gear well-maintained and our groups capped at 8 divers, so every departure feels like a private charter rather than a commercial operation.

PADI & SSI Scuba Diving Courses in Cozumel
Cozumel is widely considered one of the best places in the world to learn to scuba dive. Warm, clear, calm water means students can focus entirely on skills rather than managing conditions. Our instructors hold PADI and SSI certifications and teach at every level, from a two-hour Discover Scuba experience for first-timers to full Open Water certification, Advanced Open Water, and specialty courses including Nitrox and Rescue Diver.

Our daily two-tank morning trips cover the full range of Cozumel’s diving styles. Afternoon and single-tank night dives are also available for divers who want to fit more into their day.
Drift Diving
You enter the water, relax, and let the current carry you weightlessly across the reef while your divemaster reads the conditions. Cozumel’s signature experience.
Wall Diving
Cozumel’s southwest wall sites give you vertical topography dropping beyond recreational limits, coral-covered overhangs and blue-water visibility.
Night Diving
The reef at night is a whole new experience. Bioluminescence, hunting octopus, and the transformation of a familiar reef. Twilight or night options.
Boat Diving Trips
Daily two-tank morning departures. Afternoon trips available with minimums. All trips include Marine Park fee, tanks, weights, and guidance.
Safety, Compliance & Marine Park Standards

Emergency O2 on Board
Oxygen first-aid kit on every departure. All divemasters trained in O2 administration.
VHF Marine Radio
All boats carry marine radio for coast guard and vessel communication at all times.
Marine Park Rules Enforced
No gloves, no sunscreen, no reef contact. Enforced on every dive for every guest.
PADI Certified Divemasters
All divemasters and instructors hold PADI certification.
Emergency First Response (EFR)
All instructors and divemasters hold current EFR certification.
National Marine Park Permits
Current operating permits for the Arrecifes de Cozumel National Marine Park. Marine Park fee (~$13 USD/diver/day) included in every package.
Boat Safety Equipment
Life jackets, first aid kits, emergency signaling on all departures. Both vessels were regularly serviced.
Group Size Limits
8 divers on Mary Beth, 6 on Hatza Ha.
